MWC Partners are delighted to announce that Cole Buxton’s flagship store in London has gone live with Cegid Retail mPOS, the omnichannel mobile POS solution for iPads and iPhones.

Cole Buxton’s founders, Cole Buxton and Jonny Wilson, opened their Marshall Street store in Soho in 2020. The minimalistic retail space was created so the designers could connect directly with their customers and communicate their values, process and persona. And with the business growing quickly, Buxton and Wilson knew that an advanced POS solution would be crucial to meeting their immediate business needs and realising their plans for growth. A modern, capable and customer-centric mobile POS solution was key to delivering this vision.

Cole Buxton selected Cegid’s iOS-based mPOS solution to help drive engagement with customers and create new sales opportunities. Cegid Retail mPOS makes it easy for sales associates to search for products, search and edit customer details, create and manage orders and take electronic payments. The solution empowers store staff to bring a full suite of mobile POS and omnichannel services direct to their customers on the shop floor.

Cegid proposed retail solutions specialists, MWC Partners, to be Cole Buxton’s implementation partner. A contract for professional services was signed in July 2021, with MWC Partners responsible for software configuration, system engineering, hardware procurement, payment integration, implementation, staff training and go-live support services.

Amar Dehal, Cole Buxton’s Head of Operations, said “MWC Partners have really impressed. We needed the new solution in fast, not least because we had to provide a system that could offer queue-busting to tackle the queues we experience at peak periods. MWC Partners listened carefully to our requirements and have implemented exactly the solution we need. They’ve been proactive, responsive and reliable. You can’t ask for better than that.”

With the central server software hosted in the cloud on a SaaS model, the Cole Buxton team can continue to focus on developing their business with the peace of mind that all central hardware, software updates and maintenance are included in their subscription fee, and safe in the knowledge that their solution can be scaled easily as the company expands.

Steve Watson, Charmain of MWC Partners, said “We’re delighted to be supporting a young, up-and-coming brand such as Cole Buxton with their Cegid deployment. We know they’ve chosen the right product to support their growth over the coming years and the team at MWC Partners are looking forward to what we are sure will continue to be a successful partnership.”
